Snow Envy!

The Pacific Northwest has been getting slammed with snow for the past 2 weeks. Some parts have received over 2 feet, and it is still going. Our dusting was exciting here in Vegas, but though inconvenient (especially after a few days, not to mention weeks) there is something to be said for being snowed in. We are jealous of the snowmen, angels and everything that comes with a big snow. Family has threatened to send snow our way, so photos are the closest thing to it!

Winter Wonderland...these two photos are from Rob in Bellingham, WA

The following three are from Grandma Geeg in Sedro-Woolley, WA
Mike and Daphne visiting from Alabama

Mike, Daphne, Bob and Marly (who made it over safely from Idaho) and one giant snowman!

Christmas Day

Jack was not feeling the attempted photo shoot before leaving.

All ready to go to Grandma Caprice and Grandpa Robert's...

Jack slept the entire time we were there! Dad was sick and had to stay home. :(

His eyes popped open a little, then it was back to sleep.

Sophia in her new holiday apron
Waking up back at home. His Baby's First Christmas outfit was a little big but Jack still wore it with style.

Creepin' up on 10 lbs!

Jack had his 2 month pediatrician visit today. The good news is that he weighed in at 9 lbs 10 oz! Height= 20.5", head circumference 36.5 (he's still growing into his head). The bad part was all the shots he had to get. But after a little crying he is ok. The nurse even commented on what a good boy he is every time he comes in. :)

Tomorrow = 2 months old!

Jack looking in the mirror

We LOVE this hat made by Marilyn (Kim's mom)!

He makes this face a lot, like he is trying to figure out how to talk.

3 more days till 2 months old!

Wickett paws at the neighbor cat. "Are you for real?"

Yesterday Jack started to reach for his animals hanging on his swing. He is starting to get coordinated. He has also been holding his head up like a champ.

Here are some more smiles!

All Smiles

Ever since yesterday, Jack has been all smiles. These smiles are very hard to catch on film though. Here are some of Mom's attempts...

Hooray for snow!

Jack's First Snow- today!!

It actually snowed for several hours after this...

Backyard shots

Watching the flakes fall

Morning snow- these were big flakes but you can't tell!

Snow in Las Vegas! The morning of Grandma and Grandpa James departure, we had some wet snow. Then we had big flakes, which eventually stuck. Our part of town got more snow than others....what a fun surprise!

Gaining like there's no tomorrow

Note the double chinned yawn!
Grandpa and Grandma James with Jack

Now this is relaxation!

Jack now weighs 8lbs 4.2oz!!! He is still sporting preemie diapers, but is now starting to grow out of his preemie sized hats, bibs, and outfits. He is cooing more, and smiling lots! Must be all of the quality time with family!

OK Mom I'm done with pictures!

Grandma Marie sent us a baby scale since we have had such concerns over Jack's weight. He is really gaining now because yesterday he weighed (fully clothed) 7.75 lbs!! Go Jack Go!
