Jack in the pot!

A broken hot water heater does make for fun photos. Here is Jack in our 'crab pot' taking a bath. We are not missing heating that up the stove and lugging it up the stairs!

Jack just pointed to the fridge photos and said, "that's Mama. I love you." It is really touching how he will just randomly say I love you and usually accompanied by a great big hug!

Big Boy Underpants

Yesterday Jack started wearing his underpants at daycare. He did not go to the bathroom all day, although he sat on the potty. During the morning car-ride and during naptime he had diapers on, in which he went pee-pee. We had underwear on again once at home. He again sat on the potty and did not go. Instead, he went pee-pee in his big boy underpants, pants, and socks. Today it was the same exact scenario.

He definitely knows what he should be doing. He talks about everything, in detail now. He is a big yogurt fan but is very particular and will say, "I don't like that kind Mama." When he woke up from daycare he did not say "water" as in the past, or even "I'm thirsty." He said, "I want a bottle of water." Yes, so he can definitely go #1 and #2 in the potty and not in his diapers, (or underpants!)
