Updates??

So we have been having computer issues....internet issues, plus Jack dropped the laptop and broke the plug in for the power cord so we can't charge the laptop. So successfully getting on the computer has not been easy. Photos will be coming eventually!

Lately Jack has been grasping concepts more. The other day he picked up his bear bookend and said "heavy." He likes to differentiate between what is Mamas and what is Dadas. He also says "mine." This last weekend Auntie Linda was in town and Jack enjoyed looking at "wheels" in the tire store after Mom's car had a blow-out. He ran around saying, "wheels" over and over excitedly. He also enjoyed sharing Mom's cupcake from the Cupcakery.

It is hard to believe his birthday is less than a month away! It seems like just yesterday when he could barely turn his head from side to side. Then it seems like he was running so soon after that milestone. He is really starting to look more like a kid than a baby! Oh, and he is also really into buckles. He is always buckling his carseat and high chair (and sometimes he even unbuckles his high chair!)

Milestone!

Jack used the big boy potty today at daycare! Not just sat on it, but used it! When Mom asked about it, he did not want to divulge any information. In fact, he denied it. He would only respond, "no." He was a bit cranky after just waking up from a nap.

Cruisin'

(Above) Yesterday in the backyard.... Whoops, no shoes or helmet....
The rainstorm before we went out to play in it (a few weeks ago). A rarity around here!
Jack has climbed out of his crib 3 or 4 times now. Usually when he goes to bed he is tired enough to stay there. His latest thing is watching the movie Finding Nemo. He says, "Mo" for Nemo and "Dori" and "Dad" for Nemo's Dad. He will request to watch "Fishies" daily. He still loves cars but at least now he has other interests! He is putting two words together more like "Dada ear." Yesterday he said "hot sauce" for the first time.
