Pro Pics from June

Our attempt at Mother-Son pics from last month. It was REALLY difficult to get a good photo of the Mom AND Jack because he would not smile. Plus the set up at JC Penney's studio was open so J would just get up and walk around when it was just his turn. They turned out ok...but we may re-try at another place for his 2 year photos.

Macaroni, buttons and hopes for the Potty

Jack is still macaroni crazy- as we discovered on our trip to WA. He has only had it twice since he's been home, once at the Olive Garden and tonight when he requested it. He was pretty impatient while it was cooking. When he says macaroni it sounds like the seagulls from the movie "Finding Nemo" that repeatedly say "mine, mine, mine, mine." He did it at the Olive Garden too and our server was cracking up and also referenced that scene!

Jack likes to look at his and especially Mamas belly buttons, or "buttons" as he calls them. He was lifting up the kids shirts at daycare today to peer at their buttons.

Right now Dada is reading the big boy potty book to Jack. Cute...hoping Jack is going to get the hint soon! He will not really sit on the potty for long so far.

Jack is absolutely obsessed with cars. Ok, we knew that- but now nearly all he wants to do is watch videos of cars (Mater the Greater from "Cars" the movie and Roary the Racing Car). He actually tired of watching the old Disney cartoon Susie the Blue Coupe and his Andy the Airplane videos.

What's new with Jack

Jack is now pretending that his hands or his spoon for example is an airplane. He still loves his oatmeal but has been avoiding many other foods- especially the nutritious ones! He is still obsessed with trains, cars, and trucks too. Last night we went through the whole alphabet and he repeated each letter. He is working on being nice to the cats. His time outs now center around climbing on top of things.
