Love Bites
Jack cried for the first time Thursday when Mom dropped him off at daycare. Friday he was ok though, thankfully. He has been biting a little lately.... surely love bites, but boy they hurt! He laughs when he falls and hits his head playing now. Guess he inherited the weird gene!

Charging like a bull
Jack crawls after the cats with turbo speed, snorting like a bull, charging head forward and rams them. He knocked Wickett into Mom today, giggling.

10 Months Old
Jack is officially 10 months old, as of yesterday. He is getting up the stairs pretty quickly now, and pointing at specific things. He just now fell asleep. A thing he is really beginning to resist! He likes to push around things that have wheels. It was hard getting 10 month photos of him today since he was so on the move. Could not get the sticker on him very well and he kept grabbing at it!

Joining in
Daycare says JD is joining in more on circle time. When the kids sing songs he claps his hands and really watches all that is happening. He cries less there too now. Hopefully he has a nice routine going because Mom's going back to work tomorrow!

Pointing it out
As of yesterday, Jack is starting to point. It is not clear just yet if he is really pointing at something in particular, or just making the gesture. But it is cute nonetheless.

Climbing stairs!
So sometime before our trip to Fiji JD climbed about 5 stairs. Yesterday he decided to climb the entire flight of stairs! That's 15 steps, all by himself. Obviously his cold is not slowing him down!

Mums the word
Jack has taken to saying "Mama" a lot now.....in fact, he looks at his Dad and says Mama mama mama...... :P
When Mom was carrying him today, Jack swiftly grabbed a branch of a plant. Down it crashed to the floor, breaking the pot and dirt flying. Luckily the plant has already been close to death numerous times so this was only a minor setback for it. Guess we need to childproof at all levels!
His biggest thing right now is pounding his hands on things..walls, doors, tables, whatever he can reach. Because he can!
He still squeals when he sees his Monkey from Woodland Park Zoo.
