Stairs! :O

Today while Mom was downstairs making Jack's bottle (at 4 something am, and Jack was thought to be fast asleep)... he decided to walk down the stairs by himself! Mom thought she heard something - then heard him whining too close by. She raced around the corner only to find him nearly half way down the stairs! Guess he was hungry for that bottle! What a shock. So that's one more gate to install, and another door to make sure is completely closed.

16 months old already!

16 months old today!
Jack now says "thank-you" when you give him something (or when you say it after he gives you something he repeats it). For example, when given his toothbrush this morning, or a bite of waffle he said "thank-you."

Jack's latest and not so greatest

Last Friday at daycare Jack was a fighter. He was pulling hair (pulled out tufts of one kids afro and sat there looking at it in his hand).....all the while when he did something bad he would shake his head 'no' so he knew very well what not to do. He also wants to play rough with Peyton and tries to grab him and take him down. :( Hopefully he will be better this coming week!

Jack calls the cats "meow"-- it sort of sounds like "mom" but he is getting better at pronouncing it. They, amazingly, have still not bitten him or clawed at him despite his yanking on their tails and laughing.

But despite all of this, he is still very sweet...likes to give hugs and help around the house. His favorite thing is probably cars right now. Anything with wheels is a car.
