Little milestones

Jack is all about turning his head from side to side now. He also rubs his eyes when he is sleepy (not really a milestone, but cute nonetheless!)

He weighs around 12 lbs!

Happy 3 months Jack!

Jack is already 3 months old. He is getting better control over his hands and grabbing more. His hair is also coming in more although he still looks like a baldie!

Last weekend we went to a nursery that has exotic birds along with trees and flowers. Jack did not seem to notice the birds, they were up kind of high. But they sure noticed him! Here a parrot eyes him curiously.

Gma Marie and Jack

Grandma Marie was generous enough to come stay and help with Jack for a whole month. Jack is really progressing under her care! Oh, and Jack had a drs visit the other day and weighed in at 10 lbs 14 oz!

Update-- found out this was only a proposal and still needs to be passed... but his speech last night made it sound like it had passed!

Sleeping through the night??

We went to bed around 10pm last night, and Jack slept until 3:30am! Mom was thrilled to sleep 5 whole hours in a row! He is also squealing now-- too cute!

Heads up!!

Jack's first trip to Zion

Yesterday we took Grandma Marie to Zion National Park. Jack slept most of the 2.5 hour drive each way. Zion was as grand as usual... with a little snow. The best photos we captured were taken as the sun went down...

Getting big, isn't he! Jack now seems to enjoy his baths- or at least find them more relaxing. No more crying in the tub.

Despite the look on his face, Jack seemed to enjoy the view from his Moby Wrap.


Grandma Marie is here for the month, hooray! Just in time for Mom to go back to work- and she can feel a lot better about doing so. Jack is getting stronger by the minute, working on his push and pull ups, and holding up his head. He has less of a bobble head now and can hold his head up quite straight and for longer time periods. His coos and smiles are getting more frequent.
