Guess who will be SIX in just over a month!?? THIS GUY!
Jack has started his year off well. Just a few minor behavior bumps and he is maturing into quite the student! His teacher has an effective reward system where they earn gold coins throughout the day. Coins can be taken away. At the end of the week kids get to pick a toy based on the amount of coins they earned. Jack responds to this really well. He has had about two pages/worksheet activities of homework on average a night. He worked on writing upper and lowercase letters and numbers correctly, and now is focusing on letter sounds. He does not seem to mind homework so we are doing well!!
On his "All About Me" worksheet at school he wrote that his favorite activity is riding his bike. He also wrote that he is special because: he can draw. :)
