Today Jack identified the violin while listening to classical music. Now he is watching monster truck videos in action, per his request!

(At daycare today)

Jack was whipping around his blanket and the lady at daycare asked him to stop.
Jack said "no."
She said that you do not tell her "no."
He said, "I'm telling my Mama."
She said, "I'm telling your Mama too."
He said, "I'm telling Monica."

T Minus one month until Jack's 3rd birthday! How did this happen (already?)

Jack says the darndest things

Tonight Jack successfully negotiated macaroni for dinner. The clincher was: "I have to have it in my mouth."

My Son

Tonight we were talking about how Jack is Mama's son. He said that Dada is not Mama's son. He said Dada is Grandpa's son! Amazing!

Potty Party

Jack is using the potty by himself these days! He just goes in and takes care of business. It's great!!

Jack says the darndest things

Today at daycare Jack hit one of his playmates. Instantly he said, "never mind, I'll put myself in time out" and proceeded to go to timeout.

Jack:

-Is the closest to being potty trained that he has ever been
-Talks a lot about poop, cars, poop, and cars
-Is interested in but also a little worried about spiders, robots and monsters
-Now says, "I have to tell you somping" to get you to stay in his room longer at bedtime, then quickly requests something or comes up with a story
-Seems to be getting used to his new daycare
-Is becoming a pickier eater, fast
-Will be three years old next month!!
