First teeth!

6 months and 4 days

Jack is getting harder to photograph now that he's more mobile. By the way, he was 14lbs 14 oz on the 21st.

6 Months!

Jack turned 6 months old on the 21st. He now has his 2nd tooth coming through, on the bottom. His 6 month well visit was good...one oral shot and two regular. He barely reacted after the 1st regular shot, then for the 2nd he cried-- think it was the angle. But he got over it quickly. Jack went to work with Dad on take your child to work day, Thursday. He did really well, just a little fussy. Can you blame him for being at the office all day? He was tired from writing memos and TPS reports.

He as tried sweet potatoes, applesauce, bananas, peas and sweet peas (loves them), and carrots last night. He seemed to like the veggies even more than fruits! It gets to be a messy affair when he wants to operate the spoon himself.

His tummy is very strong-- he can go from laying on his back to standing straight up with help in like one second flat! At daycare they call him "The Next Gerber Baby." He is all about touching his feet now, and putting them in his mouth.

Jack has been all about crossing his feet lately. He also has a tooth coming through on the bottom, and is getting close to crawling! He is quite the squealer, and makes lots of bubbly noises. He has been kicking up a storm too. We went to an arts festival today with Kim and had fun.

Zion National Park

We got this hat to keep the sun out of Jack's eyes, and to prevent any sunburn-- but it was a bit big! He'll be wearing it for future Zion trips!

Morning already?
Jack's first night in the hotel. He LOVED having his own big bed (with Mom, that is). So much room to play and roll! We spent 2 nights there. Jack only got restless in the carseat on the final stretch home.

Finally, proof that Jack really does have hair. The hair has been elusive and difficult to document.
