Chatterbox and Mammoth CA

First time sledding
We were trying to build a snowman but the snow was not cooperating. He was not in the mood for photos.
Snow and cars go together like pb and j!

Jack is starting to talk in complete sentences and, pretty grammatically correct ones too. He says "that's yours," "I'm cold, get me warm" "wake up" (when he wants to stay awake and not go to bed), still counts "one, two, one, two," "I love you," "what you doing," "put it away," he gives time out to the cats, etc.... His favorite food now is by far waffles.

We had a great time in Mammoth, CA last weekend. This was our second trip.

Bed/naptime struggles and Baby Charlie!

Jack was (almost) always so good at going to bed. Sing him a little song and that was all he needed. Now he cries and cries and does not want to go to sleep, "wake up!" He says instead. We went to the doctors today just to see if his prolonged cough was a problem. She could not hear anything strange in his chest and he is feeling good otherwise. He weights just under 25lbs and his height is 33.5. At about 26 months old, that puts him at
Length
= between percentile 10 and 25
Weight = between percentile 5 and 10

He is crying and crying and has not taken a nap because of his mid-day appointment. He appears to be getting another tooth in so that must be the issue.

He is talking a lot, and the most exciting thing that has happened lately was visiting Kim's new baby Charles (Charlie)! He wants to go and visit Kim again soon.

Getting back on track

Jack was asleep (passed out actually) ever since he was picked up at daycare- where he appeared to already be asleep. That was at 3pm, now it is 5:40! He just rolled over and is smiling. Poor kid is not used to the rigorous playing schedule at daycare! :)

He is talking so much now. It snowed at our house today but after we had left in the morning. Brr, it has been cold!
